What if I cannot get an APPA Institutional membership?
DFWAPPA will accept any type of membership from APPA to provide a voting membership. Our only requirement is that you have a membership from APPA, be considered an educational institution, and complete the DFWAPPA application. If your institution is unable to obtain a membership with APPA, but still resides within a non-profit educational industry, then DFWAPPA will assign the institution an Affiliate membership.

Who can attend quarterly meetings?
The quarterly meetings are intended for Institutional, Associate, and Affiliate members. Business Partners will be individually invited from time to time for presentations to represent their company. Approximately two weeks prior to a meeting invitations will be emailed. It is very important to respond to the email invitation so the host can plan accordingly.

Do DFWAPPA Business Partners also need to have a membership with APPA?
No, our Business Partners are only partnering with DFWAPPA. However, they will be receiving limited international exposure through the Web sites of APPA, CAPPA & TAPPA. The DFWAPPA Web site is linked to these other entities in APPA.
